Overnight guests*

Guests may be accommodated in your Room overnight subject to the following conditions:

  • You may have 1 overnight guest for a period not exceeding 3 nights in any 7-day period (no overnight guests are permitted within the first 2 weeks of the contract).

  • You are responsible for the behaviour of your guests whilst they are at the Hall. You must ensure that your guests abide by the behavioural principles set out in the Student Conduct Regulations and if they fail to do so, you will be held accountable and your guest may be required to leave the Hall immediately.

  • All overnight guests must be over the age of 18 unless permission has been explicitly given by the relevant Hall Manager. Proof of age of the guest must be shown if requested.

  • Guests are not permitted to sleep anywhere other than in your Room.

  • You must accompany your Guest at all times whilst they are at the Hall.

*For clarity, an overnight guest will be considered as someone who is present in the Hall between the hours of 2.00am and 7.00am and who does not normally reside there.
