Why are my accommodation fees higher than expected?

At some points during the year, your accommodation portal will show multiple instalments even when they are not due yet.
For example, at the end of October you may see both your 1 November and 1 December instalments showing on your account.
Paying just the instalment that is due:
1. Log back into the accommodation portal and go to the 'accounts' section.
2. You can then tick the box that says 'make partial payment' - this will allow you to edit the amount to pay. This is highlighted in yellow in the photo below.
3. Type the instalment amount in next to 'Accommodation Fees'. An example amount is highlighted in green in the photo below.
4. Finally, click the pink 'pay now' button near the top of the page and follow the payment instructions.

Not sure how much each instalment is? Don't worry, there are many ways to check.
- Refer to the pdf attached to your original hall allocation email.
- Check the the instalment calculators on the accommodation fees webpage.
- View your statement via the 'accounts' section of the accommodation portal.
